Our time is directed towards activities that result in net gain for nature. As such, we don’t deliver biodiversity offsets — because despite our best restoration efforts, they usually end in a net-loss for nature. 

We will continue to measure our level of activity with partners (e.g. 20 Million trees planted), but what we really care about — our outcomes and impact for nature — will also be measured using science-based metrics and where possible, will be built into natural capital accounting frameworks.

We won’t design or deliver poor quality restoration — we understand habitat condition is essential for biodiversity benefit. Our goal is to always deliver a minimum of three stars restoration according to revegetation guidelines. 

Greenwashing, greenhushing… that’s not us. We are strongly evidence-based and will always implement best practise, but in these changing climates we might also fail from time to time. We have a growth mindset and are open about our failures so that everyone can learn.
